In an initiative to serve the people with physical disabilities, Khalid Ali Alturki & Sons Holding "Alturki Holding" in collaboration with one of its own companies, Samara Company, launched a taxi service specially prepared for the physically disabled.
Mr. Rami Khalid Alturki -the President & CEO of Alturki- initiated the formal ceremony of Samara cars for people with physical disabilities on Tuesday the 1st ofRabi' al-Awwal 1436 AH corresponding to December 23, 2014 at the Prince Saud bin Naif Park in Dhahran. Samara provides the service for people with physical disabilities exclusively for a reasonable price compared to similar services, to be able to continue and expand in the future in the number of cars and geographical coverage in other cities within the kingdom.
Mr. Alturki has stated that this initiative was planned and executed to be institutionalized which will enable us, God willing, to provide the service to this important group of our community and to contribute to facilitate their daily lives as these cars are easy for them to use without leaving their wheelchairs in order to ensure their safety and privacy and we hope to expand in this experiment in size and coverage.
